Adoption Program


Thank you for your interest in supporting Team PrISUm through our adoption program. Below you will find options to adopt a solar cell, tire, or battery. Simply enter in the number of each you would like to adopt, click the Adopt button, and we'll guide you through the adoption and payment process.

Adopt-a-Cell

$30 ea.

There are over 700 solar cells on PrISUm's latest car, and adopting one of them is an inexpensive way to become part of our team. When you adopt a cell, we will:

  • Send you a free team t-shirt
  • Send you an adoption certificate with the identification of your solar cell

Adopt-a-Tire

$100 ea.

During the 2500 mile race from Austin, TX to Calgary, Canada, the team uses over 100 tires. You can help the team by sponsoring one of them! When you adopt a tire, we will:

  • Send you two free team t-shirts
  • Let you name your sponsored tire
  • Send you an adoption certificate with the name of your tire
  • Mark your tire with its name before it is raced

Adopt-a-Battery

$250 ea.

When it's not sunny, Team PrISUm's solar car can drive with the help of over 600 lithium-polymer batteries. These batteries are one of the most expensive parts of the car, and you can support our project by sponsoring one of our 28 battery modules! When you adopt a battery, we will:

  • Send you two free team t-shirts
  • Let you name your sponsored battery
  • Send you an adoption certificate with the name of your battery
  • Mark your battery with its name
